2) Collection and storage of personal data as well as nature and purpose of use 

Personal data means information concerning the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person, i. e. all data which can be referred to you personally.

 

 A) Visit to our website 
When you visit our website at shop.ald-vt.de, the so-called ‘browser’ on your terminal device automatically collects information and sends it to the server hosting our website. 
 
This data is stored on the servers of our hosting services provider. Our technical services provider has access to this data for the purpose of maintaining and further developing the website.
 
The following data is collected without your intervention and stored until automatically deleted:

•  Date and time of access,
•  Name and URL of accessed file,
•  Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
•  Browser used and, if necessary, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider,
•  Date and time of access
 
The data is also stored in the system’s log files. This data is not stored together with other personal information of the user.
 
Temporary storage of the above data by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the computer of the user.
 
Storage in log files is done for the purpose of ensuring the functioning of the website. In addition, the data is used by us to optimize the website and ensure the security of our information technology systems.
 
The aforementioned data collection is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR allows data to be processed in order to safeguard legitimate interests, except where such interest is overridden by the interests or fundamental rights or freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.
 
Our legitimate interest follows from the above-specified purposes, i. e. to provide a functioning website, to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. 
 
In no case do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about the person visiting our website.
 
The data are deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. 
 
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. The user therefore has no right to object.
 
 
We have made sure that the applicable data protection laws and regulations are implemented and complied with through appropriate contractual agreements with our service providers. Your data is not transmitted by us to other service providers in this context.

If you send us a request via the registration form, your details from the contact form, including the contact details entered by you ("personal data"), are transmitted to us for the purpose of processing your request and are subsequently processed by us.
 
Your personal data may then be made available to the relevant in-house and specialist departments of our company.
 
The fields marked (*) in the respective contact form are mandatory fields.
 
Additional information is voluntary. The above information is required to know who sent the request and to be able to reply to it. Alternatively, you can also send us an e-mail. In this case, the personal data of the user sent by e-mail will be stored for the purpose of contacting you.
Processing of the data for the purpose of contacting you is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR in order to take steps, at your request, prior to entering into a contract and is done pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f. Our legitimate interest lies in responding to your request.
 
The personal data collected by us via the contact form will be deleted after your request has been completed.
 
The data is not disclosed to third parties in this context. 
 
The data is solely used for communication with you.
 
 

3) Cookies

 Use of so-called "session cookies" (technically required cookies)
 
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. • In the event that disclosure is required pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR and necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, and
• Is permitted by law and, according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR is required for the performance of a contract with you.
 
 

5) Data subject rights 

 You have the right:
 
• Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about personal data concerning you processed by us. In particular, you may request information on the purposes for which data are processed, the category of personal data processed, the categories of recipients to whom data concerning you has been or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the right to lodge a complaint, the right to request information on the source of your data, if not collected by us, and the existence of automated individual decision-making, including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information on the relevant details;
• Pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, to demand the immediate rectification of incorrect or the completion of incomplete personal data concerning you stored by us;
• Pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the erasure of your personal data stored by us, except where their processing is required to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
• Pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of processing of personal data concerning you, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, such processing is unlawful, but you reject their erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to their processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
• Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive personal data concerning you which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller;
• Pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR to withdraw your consent at any time. As a result, we will not be allowed to continue with the processing of data based on this consent in the future, and
• Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the competent supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or of our registered offices.
 

6) Right to object
 

If personal data concerning you is processed on the grounds of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sent. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, if there are reasons arising from your specific situation or if such data is processed for direct marketing purposes. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without requiring you to state a particular reason.

7) Data security 

We use the commonly used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method when you visit our website.
 
The encrypted transmission of a specific page of our website is identified by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
 
We also take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with the state of the art.
